How can we help?

We don't run a backend, keep user accounts, or collect personal information — so there's no password to reset and no ticket queue. If anything in any Kendal Slack app isn't working, or you have a question or an idea, email us directly. A real person (the teacher who makes these apps) reads every message and replies.

We aim to reply within a couple of business days. Pop the app name in the subject line (e.g. “HSC Study Biology” or “Napcat”) so we can help faster.

When you write, it helps to include:

✓The app name and version— the version is on the app's Settings or About screen.

✓Your device and OS— e.g. “iPad, iPadOS 18” or “Mac, macOS 26”.

✓What happened and what you expected — the steps that led to it, and a screenshot or screen recording if you have one.

Quick fixes for the common ones:

Restore a purchase on a new device

Sign in with the same Apple ID you bought with, open the app, and tap “Restore Purchases” (in Settings or on the unlock screen). Your unlock or subscription comes straight back.

Manage or cancel a subscription

All subscriptions are billed by Apple. On your device: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

Ask for a refund

Because Apple handles all billing, refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't see or process card payments ourselves.

Reset progress or clear data

Everything is stored on your device only — there's no cloud account. Deleting and reinstalling the app clears all local progress and starts you fresh.

Family Sharing

Our paid apps support Apple Family Sharing where noted, so one purchase covers your family group. Turn it on in Settings → your name → Family Sharing.

Try the latest version

Many issues are already fixed in an update. Open the App Store, tap your profile, and update — or grab any app from our developer page.

Sightwords Superhero, Typing Ninja, Grammar Quest and Maths Monsters run offline. Grammar Quest and Maths Monsters download voice packs per level, so give them a moment on first play.

Year 12 Study series

All the syllabus content, past-paper practice and mock exams work offline. Only Amy, the optional AI tutor, needs an internet connection.

The word games

Anagram Royale, Fake or Real and Riddle Run are free with light ads. Remove ads any time with each game's subscription, or turn off personalised ads under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Napcat (Mac)

Napcat lives in your menu bar. If a pet wanders off-screen, use the one-tap reset in its menu, and choose which display it lives on for multi-monitor setups.
