MAC · DESKTOP PET · A$0.99

Meet the laziest members of your team.

Napcat is a tiny pixel pet — or a whole crew of them — that lives on your Mac desktop and contributes absolutely nothing, beautifully. While you work they're wide awake and padding around; the moment you step away for coffee, they curl up for a nap. Start with one cat, then adopt the whole zoo — 60+ hand-pixelled critters, a built-in Focus Timer they cheer you through, and a treat tray for feeding them.

The pitch, in six bullets:
Lives on your desktop
A pixel pet pads around on top of your work, awake and busy while you are — then curls up for a nap the moment you step away. Put several on screen at once.
A whole menagerie
60+ hand-pixelled critters — cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, a panda, a penguin, a fox, even sharks that blow real bubbles. Start with one and adopt the lot.
Feed the crew (new)
Set down a bowl of kibble, water or milk from the treat tray. Double-click a pet to feed it, or feed everyone from the menu bar — each animal reacts with its own little emojis.
A Focus Timer they cheer on
Flip on the built-in pixel Pomodoro and your pets toss up hearts every time you finish a session. They nap automatically during your Mac's Focus modes, too.
Boop them for hearts
They chase your cursor, and a pet or a boop earns a little serotonin top-up. Light and dark mode, and you choose which display they live on.
Tiny and tidy
A featherweight menu-bar app that stays out of the way of real work. No ads, no tracking, no accounts, no data — ever.
